The manufacture of metal dies is the vital foundation upon which is based the production of all precision parts. At Toshiba Shomei Precision, the manufacture of metal dies is undertaken by highly competent, technically capable engineers with years of experience. They are responsible for every step in the process, from design and
manufacture through maintenance. Should any malfunction occur, our engineers can cope with it promptly. The company also sells metal dies; customers can place their full confidence in their high precision and quality.

Dies under this category are injection molding dies, compression molding dies, transfer molding dies, blowing molds and vacuum forming molds. They process plastics into an almost infinite number of parts, including those for automobiles and electronic equipment.

3D mold design
Examples of equipment / jig design other than metal molds
In addition to mold design, we engage in in-house design and manufacture of built-up devices, simple apparatuses and jigs.

Manufacturing technology

CAM
CAM converts 3-dimensional contour data and uses it for processing – a task impossible with drawings.
Advanced electro discharge/
wire processing machine

This machine is capable of high-precision die-milling and wire processing.
Processing by ASV
ASV is capable of machining, using a small-diameter end mill (Ф0.1mm) at a high main shaft rotational speed of 50,000rpm. It boasts a machining accuracy of 1/1000mm.
Machined mold and insert die.

Classified into cutting dies, benders, drawing dies and compression molds, press dies process materials, such as steel sheets and nonferrous metal materials, to produce parts for automobiles, electronic equipment and various other uses.
