In addition to bases for fluorescent lamps, our rich product line-up ranges from large pieces for mercury lamps to small ones for glow starters, thereby contributing to society with high-quality lighting. Over the past several years, the division has also been promoting the manufacture of higher-value-added metal parts that feature diverse functions made possible by combining our highly sophisticated multistage drawing and deep-drawing technologies.               High-precision, high-speed metal press working Using progressive dies, this process performs drawing, forging and cutting to produce high-precision parts.   Pins for fluorescent lamp bases are produced by cold-forging pure brass wires.
