Inspection toward 100% perfection |
“Customer first; Zero defects” - this principle guides our company. This determination is reflected in inspection machines introduced in all key points on our production lines. The Quality Inspection Department conducts a final inspection on every finished product to ensure that our strict quality standards have been met. They are thus imbued with “life” prior to shipment to the customer.

Hiroyuki Watanabe,
a Cathodes BU engineer |
We pursue product development from the customer’s perspective while reading market trends.
I am in charge of developing new products in accordance with customer requirements although, as a new employee nine years ago, for me it was all I could go to memorize the flow of my basic tasks. In developing a product, I add new value to facilitate secondary processing by the customer while always bearing in mind market trends. This is often very demanding but I find it extremely fulfilling.
While the field of Cathodes is a high growth field for our company, the point, I think, is how we can differentiate our products from those of the competition. I make it a rule to think positively and with a sound vision that is focused on the next five or six years. I would like to continually develop products that meet customers’ needs precisely. This will be possible by adding our own new-generation feelings and sensitivity to the wealth of technology that our predecessors have honed and accumulated over the years. Ours is a field of rapid change. To keep myself always in tune with fast-developing trends, I must keep my antenna extended at all times to enhance my sensitivity. At the same time, I would like to continually grow and mature as an individual by experiencing various tasks. |
