Established as Tokyo Iida Seisakujo Co., Ltd. In Oi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.

Headquarters moved to Samezu district of Oi, Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo.

Company name changed to Toshiba Kankyu Kizai Co., Ltd.

Headquarters moved to Ogura, Saiwai-ku, Kawasaki City, Kanagawa.

Company merged with Toshiba Buhin Kogyo Co., Ltd. and renamed the company Echigo Kawaguchi Office.

Nagai Office established in Nagai City, Yamagata.

Headquarters and production facility newly established in Fukushima City, Fukushima. After the Headquarters was transferred to Fukushima from Kawasaki City, Kanagawa, the company was renamed Toshiba Shomei Precision Corporation.

1987 In-house production of metal press dies begins.
1992 Production of rechargeable battery cases begins.
1996 Production and assembly of light-guiding plates begins.(Ending in 2020)
Production and assembly of rechargeable battery sealing body parts begins.
1998 In-house production of plastics molding dies begins.
Mass production of high-luminance guide light display units begins.
1999 Mass production of lead-in wires for cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) begins.(Ended in 2011)
2004 LED-use lens molding begins.
2011 Production of lead-in wires for cold cathode fluorescent lamp (CCFL) ceased.
Mass production of parts for on-vehicle large rechargeable battery cases (SCiB™, marketing) and sealing body begins.
